2. Services Description
JobJotAI provides job application tools including:
- Resume Tailoring: Customize resumes for specific job descriptions with keyword optimization
- Cover Letter Generation: Create personalized cover letters for job applications
- Resume Analysis: ATS compatibility checking and optimization suggestions
- Apply Assistant: Help crafting answers to job application form questions
Our services are offered through subscription plans (Starter, Value, Premium) and one-time credit packages.
3. Service Policy
3.1 Subscription Plans: JobJotAI offers three subscription tiers with different monthly usage limits. All subscriptions are billed monthly and can be canceled at any time.
3.2 Credit System: Users can purchase credits for one-time use of features. Credits never expire and are consumed when using specific tools.
3.3 Service Changes: JobJotAI reserves the right to modify features, pricing, or service offerings at any time. Active subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance of any material changes.
3.4 Service Availability: While we strive to maintain our services, we do not guarantee that all features will remain available indefinitely.
4. Usage Limitations and Fair Use
4.1 Subscription Limits:
- Starter Plan: 10 resume tailors, 10 cover letters, 15 resume analyses, 20 application assists per month
- Value Plan: 30 resume tailors, 30 cover letters, 45 resume analyses, 60 application assists per month
- Premium Plan: Unlimited usage of all features
4.2 Credit Usage: Credits are consumed when using features (4-7 credits per use depending on feature) and are non-refundable once used. Credits never expire.
4.3 Fair Use: Usage must be for personal job searching purposes only. Bulk or commercial use is prohibited.
4.4 Prohibited Uses:
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials or usage limits
- Sharing account access with multiple people
- Reselling access to JobJotAI services
- Using automated systems or bots to access our services
- Using services for purposes other than personal job searching
4.5 Account Termination: JobJotAI reserves the right to terminate accounts engaging in prohibited uses without prior notice or refund.
5. User Account and Ownership
5.1 Account Registration: Users must create an account with a valid email address. Authentication is handled securely through Supabase.
5.2 User Content: Users retain full ownership of all content they create, upload, or generate using JobJotAI services, including resumes, cover letters, and application materials.
5.3 Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
5.4 Individual Use Only: Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing account access is prohibited and will result in account termination.
5.5 Account Deletion: Users can request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@jobjotai.com. All user data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
6. Service Modifications
6.1 JobJot may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services without prior notice.
6.2 While we strive to maintain and improve our services, we do not guarantee the availability of specific features indefinitely.
7. Payment and Refunds
7.1 Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card information.
7.2 Subscription Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date of initial subscription. Auto-renewal can be canceled at any time.
7.3 Refund Policy: Subscriptions can be canceled at any time. No refunds are provided for partial months. Benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
7.4 Credit Purchases: Credit purchases are final and non-refundable once purchased. Credits never expire.
7.5 Failed Payments: If a subscription payment fails, access to subscription features will be suspended until payment is received.
8. User Data and Privacy
8.1 We collect personal data (email, name, payment information) and usage data to provide our services.
8.2 We use cookies for authentication and analytics.
8.3 We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for marketing purposes.
8.4 User-uploaded resumes and documents are stored securely and used only to provide our services.

9. Prohibited Uses
Users are prohibited from:

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
10.1 No Job Guarantees: JobJotAI does not guarantee job offers, interviews, or employment. We provide tools to enhance your job search.
10.2 Not a Recruiting Agency: We are a software platform, not an employment agency or recruiter.
10.3 Service "As Is": Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10.4 Limitation of Liability: JobJotAI's liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding any claim.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 JobJotAI Platform: All rights, title, and interest in JobJotAI's software, algorithms, and platform remain the exclusive property of JobJotAI.
11.2 User-Generated Content: Users retain all rights to content they create or upload.
11.3 License to Use: By using our services, users grant JobJotAI a limited license to process their content solely for the purpose of providing our services.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
12.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
12.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration.
12.3 Jurisdiction: Users agree to submit to the jurisdiction of courts in Delaware for any disputes.

13.1 JobJotAI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

14.1 Users may terminate their account at any time by canceling their subscription and requesting account deletion.
